Big Basin State Park | Activities to Do in the Bay

The majestic Big Basin Redwood State Park .  We have been here several times now and is always a relaxing family bonding outing. It is California's oldest State Park. I will say, the roads up to it are winding and so a dose of Dramamine before the drive is recommended to avoid car sickness. For a family-friendly, easily doable trail, I recommend going to see the mother and father of the forest.  It can be walked in 20 but takes more like 45 with young children exploring and all the picture taking.
